To create PDF files for magazine printing a specific
Desktop Printer is required.
1. Locate the app named Desktop Printer
Utility (usually in Utilities Folder). If you do not
have it, download
it.
2. Select Laserwriter 8 and highlight
Translator (PostScript) in the window.
2. Click the OK button. An Untitled dialog box will
appear:
Ensure Generic is selected in the Postscript Printer
Descriptions (PPD) File field. Click the Change
button next to the Default Destination Folder
field.
3. Click New Folder. Place it on your desktop and
name it Postscripts:
4. Hit the create button, name the file TPH
Postscript and hit Save (to your
desktop).
5. Restart your computer and continue with the PDF
